Work in Style have been a retained client with Bespoke Bids since 2020.

Since then, we have worked together to improve Work in Style’s bidding across 12 tenders, finding great success thanks to our client-focussed, consultative approach.

To highlight this joint success story and demonstrate some of the many benefits of a managed service relationship with Bespoke, we sat down with Work In Style Account Manager, Tina Bullett to ask her a few questions.

Tina has always been responsible for Work in Style’s tenders. We asked her:

Why did you seek help with your tenders?

I was just second guessing myself on them all the time… So, I just said, ‘we need someone who can understand the question,’ for a start, because sometimes the questions are so ambiguous, and make sure we cover everything that the Uni wants to hear. So that’s when we decided to get a company on board…

And what’s the difference you’re seeing now?

Ahh it’s so much easier. I don’t have to complete them [the bids] I just have to answer a few questions and I know that you guys are going to hit all the criteria and make sure that everything’s submitted. And that just saves me days and days and days of work. So, it’s so much easier.

What’s the working relationship like with Bespoke?

The relationship has been brilliant with everyone, you’ve been so good, all of you… I think the nature of our contracts helps, supplying uniforms, once you understand what we do it’s all systems go.

What have been the benefits to your business?

With Sunderland, when we won that, they were so impressed with the tender. It gives a good impression of us straight away, the way the tender has been completed.
Having you guys, you understand what language to use, and exactly what they’re asking on the questions and how we can phrase it, how we can add the extra marks, I think that makes a massive difference, definitely.

Any final thoughts?

At the end of the day, if I’m not doing the tenders then I can do what I’m actually employed to do. So, it saves money all round, because it means I can get on with my job as well. And we’ve won quite a few tenders this year, so it’s worked well.
