Luke at Eaton Electrical contacted us having never used a bid writing company before. A University Framework tender was due for release and it was vital to their strategic plans to be selected.
The bid was seen as a must-win. Eaton Electrical had a great deal of experience in such projects and the high-value framework was desirable for company growth. They requested a price for completing the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (‘PQQ’) stage and an indicative price should they be selected for the Invitation to Tender (‘ITT’).
One of our experienced bid managers took complete control of the management and writing of the tender response, working closely with Luke from the outset. He requested the raw information required to write the bid and chaired conference calls to develop the optimal value that Eaton Electrical could propose.
At the end of November, we were informed that we had been shortlisted for the ITT stage. Using best practice bid writing, industry research and working closely with Eaton Electrical personnel, we developed a response which not only reflected unique company strengths but was closely mapped to the detailed requirements of the University.
In February 2017, it was announced that Eaton Electrical had been selected, which was a huge win for the company. We are looking forward to Eaton Electrical’s next tender opportunity and hope to work in partnership with them to develop strategic company growth.
