Two Counties Cleaning have over 30 years’ experience providing expert contract cleaning services across Dorset and Hampshire. They needed our help in creating a winning bid for a Local Authority contract.
We pride ourselves on our personal service and close client collaboration which we believe is key to achieving our most impressive results. Key client staff members were often (and understandably) busy throughout this tender process, which meant our usual level of collaboration was not achievable. We therefore used our initiative and experience throughout this process to ensure that our end product remained uncompromised.
The tender was a 6-year contract to supply cleaning services at a school in Bournemouth which caters for over 2000 students. The location and scope of this fell directly within our client’s remit and the extensive contract period meant that this would be an extremely valuable addition to their portfolio.
An experienced bid manager chaired a ‘kick-off’ call with the Two Counties management team, requesting information be gathered to develop our responses. The bid was then structured, applying APMP best practice.
The bid was developed using an iterative process, undergoing set reviews by both Two Counties and Bespoke personnel until it was signed off as complete.
We worked well under the pressure of this tender and were able to offer an end product which scored extremely well, (90% on technical response), for a bid of this type.
“I choose Bespoke after talking with several companies that specialise in bid writing, I found that they were very precise with their preparations and talked me through every stage of the process. Sue McGrath was our main contact and wrote our bid to an exceptionally high standard. I would always recommend Bespoke and should the need arise in the future ask them to act for my company again. As a result of their experience and professionalism in the bid writing process, I believe that this was one of the reasons we won this contract, competing with National Companies in a very competitive market.”
